Located in South Berwick, Maine, The Grant House was built in 1795 by Captain Thomas Jewett, a local sea captain who ran a successful shipbuilding enterprise. The house was one of the largest and most impressive homes of its time. When the house was converted into apartments for seniors in 1979, it was renamed The Grant House.

In 2003, Northland acquired and renovated the 22 residential unit building.
