Josh grew up in Goffstown NH and attended Colgate University, earning a BA in Philosophy in 2001. Following College, he moved to Manhattan and worked for two years with market research firm IPSOS-NPD. In 2003, Josh began his real estate career as a commercial real estate broker at Tishman Real Estate Services in Midtown Manhattan specializing in office and data center/disaster recovery assignments. After working on tenant and landlord representation in New York City and New Jersey, Josh returned home to New Hampshire to become Director of Acquisitions at Headwater Capital Management, a private equity fund formed to purchase triple net leased industrial properties in the eastern United States. While at Headwater, Josh personally visited and cataloged every distribution warehouse in northern New Jersey, Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania, Southern New Hampshire, and Southern Maine over 50,000 square feet.

Josh joined the Eagle Point Companies based in Portland Maine in 2006 and was in charge of Acquisition efforts for low income housing redevelopment projects as well as cultivating the emerging General Partnership Interest Purchasing efforts for Eagle Point.

In October 2008, Josh joined Rex Bell at Northland and in 2009 became Partner. At Northland, Josh leads efforts to negotiate, model and source deals. Northland has completed over $85 Million of commercial real estate development in Maine and Vermont since 2008. In many of their projects, Northland leverages private investment and conventional debt with State and Federal Historic Tax Credit equity, Tax Increment Financing, and various state and federal grant programs.

Josh lives in Cape Elizabeth with his wife Kate, their son Jack, their daughter Maggie, and their dog Bailey. Josh is a former National Champion rally co-driver with the Mainiax rally team. Josh is a former member of Sustain Southern Maine’s regional housing council, and a former trustee of Maine Preservation.
